1. Introduction

Cliniscape Ltd is committed to ensuring that our website, www.cliniscape.co.uk, is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing responsibility, and we are taking active steps to improve the accessibility of our website in line with current best practice and legal requirements.

This accessibility statement applies to the website at www.cliniscape.co.uk.

2. Our Commitment

We want as many people as possible to be able to use our website. We aim to ensure that our website is:

  • perceivable — information and user interface components are presented in ways that all users can perceive;
  • operable — user interface components and navigation are operable by all users;
  • understandable — information and the operation of the user interface are understandable; and
  • robust — content is robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

These are the four principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We are working towards conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is the standard referenced by the UK public sector accessibility regulations and widely regarded as the appropriate benchmark for all organisations.

3. Measures We Have Taken

We have taken the following steps to support the accessibility of our website:

  • the website is built with semantic HTML and a foundation of accessible markup;
  • we have selected a design that prioritises readability, clear navigation, and logical content structure;
  • we use clear, plain language throughout our website content;
  • we have structured our content using proper heading hierarchies (H1, H2, H3, etc.) to assist screen reader navigation;
  • we have ensured that all interactive elements (links, buttons, and form fields) are identifiable and operable via keyboard;
  • we provide descriptive alternative text for images where appropriate; and
  • we have ensured that our website is responsive and functions across a range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes.

4. Current Accessibility Status

We describe the current accessibility status of our website as partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We have not yet undertaken a formal, independent accessibility audit. Our assessment of the website's accessibility is based on our own internal review and testing. We intend to commission a formal audit in due course and will update this statement to reflect the findings.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the website may not yet be fully accessible. The following known limitations have been identified:

Third-party contentContent or functionality provided by third-party plugins or embedded services (e.g. contact forms, maps) may not be fully accessibleWe will evaluate third-party components and seek accessible alternatives where available

We will update this section as issues are identified and resolved.

9. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility concern, you may wish to contact the Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS), which provides advice and support on equality and human rights issues, including accessibility:

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. While these regulations apply primarily to public sector bodies, Cliniscape Ltd is committed to meeting the same standards as a matter of good practice and in compliance with our obligations under the Equality Act 2010.

10. Our Obligations Under the Equality Act 2010

Under the Equality Act 2010, service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage when accessing services. This duty extends to websites and digital services.

We take this obligation seriously and consider accessibility to be an integral part of our commitment to providing an inclusive and professional service. If you require a reasonable adjustment in order to access our services, whether through our website or otherwise, please contact us and we will work with you to identify an appropriate solution.

11. Testing and Review

Our current approach to accessibility testing includes:

  • manual review of website content and navigation;
  • testing with keyboard-only navigation;
  • use of browser-based accessibility evaluation tools; and
  • review of website content against the WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria.

We intend to supplement our internal testing with an independent accessibility audit. The results of any such audit will be used to update this statement and to prioritise further improvements.

This statement was last reviewed on 04/02/2026. It will be reviewed again no later than 04/02/2027.
